The National Coalition for Safer Roads is pleased to release its first-ever report on trends in red-light running. Safer Roads Report 2012: Trends in Red-Light Running is one more resource of valuable information that people can turn to in order to help maximize their safety. It reveals the risky behaviors and tendencies of red-light runners by analyzing when and where these violations occur. High-level findings include the times of day and the days of the week when drivers are most likely to run a red light, as well as peaks in violations during major holiday periods.
