Welcome to Safety Street!
To get you started, here’s a quick overview of some of the site’s features and how to use them:
The Category Bar: The blue navigation tabs found at the top of each page highlight a range of different topics. Those category links will change often, so keep your eyes open for fresh content and new Safety Street features.
Featured Carousel: The carousel, located below the category navigation bar, is where you will find the latest research, reports and news stories from NCSR and our partner organizations. Click through the slides to read reports, view videos and see full articles.

The newsletter will provide links to key articles and pull together a selection of the best recent content and features on the Safety Street blog.
State At A Glance: This section, found just below the carousel on the right sidebar, will provide state-specific information and link to NCSR’s state coalition pages. Different states will be featured, pointing out timely industry topics within the state.
Popular Posts: The popular posts section on the right sidebar will always show a handful of editor’s picks and will point you to earlier stories you may have missed. Click on the links to view the full articles.

Testimonials: This section on the right sidebar features first-hand testimonials by NCSR advocates sharing their personal stories and encounters with the very real dangers of red-light running. Watch the featured testimonial through the embedded video and click on “See More Testimonials” for all NCSR testimonials.
Categories: This section on the right sidebar will help you navigate through popular tags and categories associated with Safety Street posts and discover content that is of most interest to you.
Social Media Icons: These appear at the top and bottom of each post. If you’re logged into Facebook or Twitter, simply click your button of choice to share the post with your network. It will automatically sample the post for you on Facebook or share the link on your Twitter account. You may also share links and articles via e-mail, Google+ and LinkedIn.
